So, Valentine's Day is less than a week away and you have no idea what to get the special man in your life. Look no further! Whether he's a sports fan, gamer, or on the conservative side, you can now take the guess work out of gift giving.
1. Gamer
- New video game system. If your budget allows, springing for an Xbox One or a PS4 would be a welcomed gift by any gamer.
- A new video game. No matter what he's into, you have plenty of options. Currently, some of the top rated games are: Metal Gear Solid V:The Phantom Pain, Forza Horizon, Madden NFL 2016, and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor.
- Any accessories for his current gaming system - skins, controllers, battery packs, etc. These bundled together would make for a nice gift set.
2. Sports Fan
- Tickets to see the big game. What's better than enjoying the action live? This is a gift he will surely love and will remember forever.
- A new jersey. Men who love sports usually love showing off their team pride.
- Collectibles - Think decorations for his Man Cave or office supplies bearing his team's name.
3. Musician
- Music collections he doesn't have - Is he a fan of a classic band, but doesn't own all their material? Consider finding a collection he wants but doesn't have.
- Tickets to see his favorite band - Is his favorite band coming to town or somewhere the two of you could travel to see? Giving experiences is many times better than giving a material gift. You'll get extra points if he's never seen them live!
- Personalized items - Does he play guitar? How about a set of personalized guitar pics with his name, an inspiring saying, or your anniversary date?
4. Outdoory/Active
- A trip somewhere you know he's been dying to visit. Whether it's across town or across the country, he will be stoked to get his feet - or whatever else- wet. Take it a step further and plan out an itinerary of must-see places or book a place to rest your heads.
- New equipment - If he's a biker, how about a new helmet or cycling shorts? He's a runner? That pair of running shoes he's been eyeing but won't buy himself would make for an ideal gift.
Your company - Does he normally run, cycle, or canoe alone? Why not join him? Sure, you don't need to be by his side every time, but showing an interest in what he's passionate about would probably mean a lot to him - possibly more than you would think.
5. Avid Reader
- The newest book in the series he's reading - If you know he's hooked on a particular series, go ahead and pick up the next book. Does he have a book he once read and loved but he doesn't own? Gift him with that. If possible, look for the deluxe or signed edition.
- Gear to enhance his experience - You can't go wrong here. Does he complain about not having enough room for his books? A handmade or custom made bookshelf would be helpful and thoughtful. Is he always losing his page? A funny or personalized bookmark might keep that from happening.
- A gift that keeps on giving - If you know his taste in books is varied or you're not sure what he's read, a date to the bookstore to browse, complete with his favorite coffee and a gift certificate might just be his dream date.
