The world's largest fan-voted awards show, the American Music Awards will air this Sunday, November 20th on ABC! This year, Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah will host the show for the first time. Some of music's biggest and brightest stars are set to perform during the 3-hour live broadcast show - including Justin Bieber, Fifth Harmony, Lady Gaga, Niall Horan, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendas, Twenty One Pilots, The Weeknd and all-star duets between The Chainsmokers and Halsey, Ariana Grande featuring Nicki Minaj and Maroon 5 with Kendrick Lamar! Plus, music legend, Sting will receive the Award of Merit and perform a medley of hits.

Although the performances are a big part of the show, the awards are even bigger! Fans have been voting for their favorites in all categories since the nominations were announced in early October. I'm here to predict who I think will win big at this year's show!

Artist of the Year

First of all, can someone say awkward? Having Justin and Selena battling in the night's biggest category? Haven't they had enough of each other yet? I guess the fans don't think so! The Artist of the Year category originally had 10 nominees (Adele, Beyoncé, Drake, Twenty One Pilots and The Weeknd were also included in the list) until fans votes narrowed the number down to 5 last week. All 5 of these artists have had such an incredible year. It would be hard to pick just one winner but, the fans will do that for us. With no doubt in my mind, Justin Bieber will walk away with the night's biggest honor!

This category may not seem like much competition for pop sensation, Shawn Mendas but, that could be a different story. Alessia Cara scored high on the charts with her debut hit, "Here" and now her beloved "Scars To Your Beautiful" is taking off so that could win her over some votes. The Chainsmokers have their huge hits over the past year with Daya ("Don't Let Me Down") and Halsey ("Closer"), which surely puts them in the running. Don't forget about DNCE, which has Joe Jonas as their lead singer. That could defiantly win them votes for all former Jonas Brothers fangirls. As well as Zayn whose One Direction lovers could push for the win. When it all comes down to it, Shawn Mendes will more than likely take home his first AMA. He has millions of fans all over the world, his new album, Illuminate hit #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and "Treat You Better" dominated pop radio this past summer.

Out of all the 5 nominees, this category comes down to "Work From Home" and "Work". Fifth Harmony has such a strong fan base, especially when it comes to voting and this song has been their biggest hit yet. I say they win. Although, Queen RiRi and Drake could sweep the win with their cross fan-bases.

My question is where is Carrie Underwood in this category? She had the biggest country tour of the year and of her career plus, sold out arenas all over the world! I'm sure we could all think of a better music video to put in this category other than Desiigner's "Panda" but, that won't matter. Justin Bieber will win once again. "Sorry" was such a massive success as a single off of Purpose and this video has received over a billion views on both Vevo and YouTube. Plus, Beliebers wouldn't let him off without a win in this category.
