2015's Top 5 Underrated Films

2015 seems to have gone by in a flash... and darn it I'm still writing it on everything that I need dates for. But I feel like 2015 didn't have that many big headline breaking movies (besides Star Wars mind you) so where did all of the filming go? Well, fear not! I found a list of movies that most people (including myself) have probably only seen trailers for, but these movies should have had a lot more hype to them. Here we go!

5. Ex Machina

We can start off this list with a movie I haven't seen but direly want to. Is it me or did the media have a sort of obsession with A.I. movies in 2015? Regardless, this movie looked like one that would really mess with the mind, considering how we look at artificial intelligence now. Definitely put it on your watch list

4. Kingsman: The Secret Service

Let me preface this by saying I ABSOLUTELY ADORE this movie. Kingsman really blended the genre of British comedy with Spy film so well. Even with Spectre and Mission Impossible releasing in the same year, I think this movie captures spy films at their finest. Go see it. Like now.

3. Crimson Peak

This movie really surprised me. And no, I haven't seen it yet. But it carries a heavy director name, Guillermo Del Toro, and oddly the ad campaign for this movie was rather small. Del Toro is a master of horror, and according to IMDb, it really shows in this Victorian era thriller.

2. The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Man, another spy movie that didn't hit it's advertising mark that well. The Man from UNCLE is an epic spy thriller set in War time about an American spy and a Russian spy that are forced to work together to stop a worldwide disaster. It's a very witty movie, with a super clean sense of humor that's just overall enjoyable for everyone. If you like the FX hit, Archer, you'll dig this flick.

1. Dope

Man, where did this movie even advertise? I saw a trailer for this movie maybe one time when I was in a theater, but nowhere else did I see a single promo for Dope. It's a movie about a self proclaimed "geek" and his friends who get invited to a possibly life-changing party. Doesn't that sound awesome? Hold on, I'm gonna look it up now...
