July 23, 2017, marked the seven year anniversary of my favorite band, One Direction. And while 1D have been on a hiatus for a hot minute (around 589 days but who's counting), we still MUST celebrate the national holiday that is the One Direction Anniversary. So, here's 20 throwback iconic 1D moments (in no particular order).
1. The weekly video diaries from the X Factor days.
Okay, let's hope I can get through this article without crying. BUT, if you're a Directioner, you probably spent many a nights re-watching these over and over and quoting them by heart. "I LIKE GIRLS WHO EAT CARROTS."
2. One Direction placing 3rd on the X-Factor.
TBT to these outfits am I right?? This moment we were all crushed but both the fans and Simon knew this was not the end.
3. The Up All Night tour.
I still cannot believe that the incredible, talented, award-winning, ONE DIRECTION were the opening act for Big Time Rush. That seems like a lifetime ago. But, here we first got to see One Direction live and watched them develop their stage presence.
4. When members of One Direction pranked each other and Harry was ready to help birth a child.
HAHAHAHA this was such an incredible day.
5. The masterpiece that was the "What Makes You Beautiful" music video.
Those were the days man.
6. Take Me Home album tour.
Okay y'all, this was PRIME One Direction. (Disclaimer: I will use lots of moments from this tour so watch out) TMH was such a blessing and I just want to relive these days and remember what it was like to be so happy.
7. Narry TMH moments.
My heart won't recover.
8. The iconic pyramid that they were honestly so proud of.
9. Every time that Louis made Niall laugh in "Over Again".
10. The "This Is US" premiere and all the magical moments that came with it.
Harry...at...the...premiere...I...cannot.
11. When Zayn called his mum in the movie and we all sobbed.
While I'm still very salty with He-who-must-not-be-named, this was such a sweet moment.
12. Louis showing us around Toys-R-Us in "This Is Us".
Incredible.
13. THIS MOMENT.
14. Chubby Bunny.
I won't tell you how many times I've watched this video.
15. Honestly just how cute Liam was with a buzz cut.
Remember when the boys called him Daddy Direction?
16. And the art form that was TMH Harry.
17. When The Midnight Memories music video was released and we all had a heart attack because they were LITERALLY SO HIGH ABOVE THE GROUND.
I feared for their lives.
18. When Niall started making us all want to die during "Better Than Words" at the Where We Are tour.
Amazing.
19. And when Harry held this small child and we all went crazy.
20. And we can't forget Red Nose Day.
I sobbed. They sobbed. We all sobbed.
I could list thousands of more moments, but these will do for now. COME BACK ONE DIRECTION WE NEED YOU!!!
