20 Thoughts You Have While Packing To Move Back To College

Last week I moved back to my college town, and into my apartment for my senior year. Packing to go back to school is probably the most stressful thing ever. I know from first-hand experience, because I am currently dealing with this. No matter how much you try to condense your packing, it always feels like you keep thinking of different things you need. And the next thing you know, you have a whole car stuffed full of things. So here is a list of 20 thoughts you have while packing to move back to college.

1. I’m so ready to be out from my parents roof

2. All the freedom I’ll have at school

3. I can’t wait to eat cookie dough for dinner

4. Where did I put my shower shoes?

5. And my towels

6. Why do I have so much stuff?

7. I need more boxes

8. I need more going out clothing

9. I need more cute clothing

10. I really need to go shopping before I leave

11. JK, I’m too broke for that

12. I mean bringing two suit cases full of clothing isn’t too bad right?

13. I am about to live there for like nine months

14. So two suit cases really isn’t that bad

15. I really hope all of this fits in the car

16. This is about to be a real life game of Tetris putting this in the car

17. This is so stressful

18. Why can’t my stuff just magically appear at school?

19. I’m so over this

20. I am so excited to be going back

As stressful as packing to go back to school is, in the end, it's all worth it. You get to see your friends, stay out as late as you want and no one can tell you how to live your life.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
