New England is a wonderful place. Hundreds of colleges to get accepted to (or not, because acceptance rates are a big lol up here). Plenty of attractions to visit (Six Flags is pretty cool). The perfect place for amazing adventures. There's nothing wrong this luxurious region in the United States.
The previous statement is a bold-faced lie.
New England is cold. Like, really cold. If it's a weekend, you can stay inside your warm, toasty house. If you're in high school, there's no need to go outside to get to your classes. If you're a college student... you're screwed. These are just some of the many thoughts that may be going through your head at any point during a cold winter school day:
1) -2 degrees outside. NICE.
2) Classes don't necessarily need to happen anyway.
3) I'll just put on 5 coats and we'll be fine... maybe.
4) What is this white stuff falling from the sky? Can it leave?
5) Might as well be living in Antarctica.
6) I'm going to freeze over.
7) WHY IS THAT KID WEARING SHORTS? WHAT.
8) Winter is forever. I'll never know what it's like to be warm again.
9) My ears might just fall off.
10) Transferring to a school in Florida doesn't seem too bad now.
11) Definitely not wearing enough layers.
12) NOT having this wind chill right now.
13) Glad there's all this black ice on the ground. I really like slipping multiple times.
14) I can't feel my legs.
15) I can't feel my face.
16) I can't feel my anything.
17) Is my nose running? I don't even know.
18) Let me just Snapchat everyone the temperature so they know that I'M COLD.
19) 20 more steps until sanctuary. Come on, you can make it.
20) Oh thank god for excessive building heating.
