Since I turned 20 on September 16th, I thought that I should share with everyone 20 things that you should know by your 20th birthday! Knowing these things will make your life a little easier and allow you to know where you stand as a person.

1. Family comes first.

2. Be grateful.

3. The ugliest trait you can have is jealousy.

4. Enjoy the little things in life.

5. Tell your family and friends you love them, you may never know when it will be the last time.

6. Find happiness in everything, even if you are in a bad mood.

7. Go outside and enjoy every minute of it.

8. Always be humble.

9. Embrace the awkwardness.

10. Be flexible, plans change!

11. Have confidence in yourself, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

12. Sing at the top of your lungs, you will be amazed at what it can do.

13. Stay away from the people who make you feel unwanted or hard to love.

14. Say yes if you get invited somewhere, unless of course you already have plans. You will get the chance to meet new people and find new interests and likes.

15. Write "nap" on your to-do list, that way when you wake up you can have something to cross off!

16. Do not overthink.

17. Put trust in God's plan, everything happens for a reason, whether or not you can understand it at the time.

18. Protect your heart, but do not be afraid to fall. We all do it.

19. Timing is everything.

20. Say YES to adventure!

So for anyone who is about to turn 20, or is a little over 20, here are some things that you should know if you do not already know. You will become a very defined person and live life to the fullest!
