1. You find yourself going for the kiss on the cheek rather than the friendly hug or hand shake.

4. You find yourself planning days to take Instagram pictures because you don't see a legendary landmark to pose in front of during your walk to the market.

5. You don't even walk to the market--you don't walk anywhere.
6. Instead of eating a freshly baked pastry in the morning, you get a juice.
7. You never have a fall-back plan of going clubbing or bar hopping when your plans don't work out (vote yes for minimizing the age limit to 18).
8. American's do not know how to "dine" and enjoy a meal for longer than 45 minutes.
9. You're no longer interested in people's cultural backgrounds because its all the same (you find the occasional Canadian).

10. No one knows what Aperol is (shoutout to the Italians).
11. Seeing tourists makes you realize how much you stuck out this past year/semester.

12. You start to notice that all the American people who start "the new trends" are just European imitators (shoutout to all the guys with their new FRENCH flows).
13. You question why your parents won't let you buy designer clothing anymore.
14. You have no idea what half of the dance moves people are doing nowadays are (first was the cha-cha slide, then jerking and twerking, then the whip and the nay nay).
15. Which leads to watching Youtube videos of the new dance trends in the middle of the night when you are jet-lagged.
16. Large dogs are no longer a rare find since returning back to the U.S.
17. Metro/chic only works on European guys--it is just a fact.

18. Being reunited with your car brings you back to when you felt like an adult for the first time by getting your license.

19. Adidas are no longer nurses' shoes.
20. You find yourself figuring out any way you could possibly go back.
