20 Things To Do Now That Finals Are Over
Her Campus

Congrats!!! The most difficult week of your life is finally over! You should be proud of yourself and ready to kick back, relax, and forget about textbooks and essays. Here are a few tips if you can’t seem to get out of that cloudy finals haze.

1.Dance around in a circle.

You have nothing to do for an ENTIRE MONTH!

2.Throw out those study guides that didn’t really help anyway.

Study guides = a ton of info that won't even be on the exam.

3. Watch as much Netflix as you want.

Season 8 of "One Tree Hill" has been calling your name all week but, sadly, you had to resist.

4. Cut back on all the caffeine you’ve been consuming. (Or not ;))

You can finally cut back on all those mocha lattes! Or, you can stick with your caffeine hound tendencies, whatever works for you!

5. SLEEP

Odds are, you haven't been getting a lot of it.

6. Eat whatever. you. want.

You deserve it!

7. Hang with your girls (or boys, or grandma, literally anyone you want.)

They've been deprived of you since you locked yourself away to study for hours on end.

8. Pet your dog.

They miss you too :(

9. Make some major dough.

You took off of work to prepare for this harrowing week, now go back and work your butt off so you can start making that mullah again.

10. Blast hella music.

No more 24-hour quiet hours! :D

11. Take cute pics.

Pictures were not your friend this week because of the constant bags under your eyes, but those are gone now!

12. Answer back all those unanswered texts.

Long text convos were definitely something you didn't have time for.

13. Catch up on the news.

So much went on while you were stuck in your study cave!

14. Read a book FOR FUN!!

Reading something that you don't have to memorize? Heaven.

15. Put on some jeans.

Don't get me wrong, sweatpants look great on you, but your jeans deserve some lovin' too.

16. Enjoy the holiday season.

Because finals have been your life for the past week or so, the holidays have taken a back seat.

17. Hug your mom.

She listened to you cry about your stress levels every night, she deserves it.

18. Smile :)

YOU'RE DONE!

19. Bake cookies.

Just because you can.

20. Enjoy your much deserved break!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
