20 Things I Miss Less Than Ohio University

It has been a while since I have stepped foot in Athens, almost four months to be exact, and I'm really struggling. I want to be back on the bricks eating Goodfella's and hanging out on the green. Classes start back up next month and I don't think I have ever been more excited to be going back to school. But OU isn't the only thing I miss. I miss a lot of things, just not nearly as much as I miss being in Athens. Here are some of those things that don't quite compare to being back at school.

1. The Jonas Brothers

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Jo-Bro fan. I had posters hanging in my closet until last year. But I miss OU just a little bit more than Kevin, Nick and Joe.

2. Country Taylor Swift

"Tear Drops On My Guitar" was my jam. But it still can't compare.

3. High School

Gross. Obviously I miss OU more than high school.

4. Limited Too

As much as I love the sequined jeans and neon gloves, I'm glad it's out of my life. I definitely miss OU more.

5. Anyone's ex-boyfriend

Or ex in general. Ex's suck, we all know it. We all miss OU more than our ex.

6. "Jersey Shore"

Snooki's drama is no match for my love of Ohio University.

7. Winter

Winter is gross and cold, so there isn't any competition there.

8. Having to watch TV live, without being able to record anything.

I live for Netflix and being able to fast forward through commercials.

9. Miley Cyrus, A.K.A. Hannah Montana

This one is pretty close to OU. Hannah Montana is very dear to my heart, but then again so is OU.

10. Old Disney

Also a close call, but after lots of debate, I do miss OU more.

11. iTunes

Why do I have to pay for it now? I miss the old iTunes, but not as much as OU.

12. Free textbooks

I have no problem paying for textbooks as long as I get to go back to OU soon.

13. Snapchat (when you could see others' best friends)

Come on, Snapchat, I just wanna know who my best friend's best friends are. But not as much as I wanna go back to school.

14. Jelena (Justin and Selena)

Power couples goals.

15. Justin Bieber's "Justin Bieber Hair"

The iconic swooping Justin Bieber hair, oh how I miss it. But I miss OU more.

16. Nintendogs

I miss all of my Dalmatian puppies and taking them on walks.

17. Gameboys

This one doesn't even need an explanation. Nintendo should definitely still sell these.

18. Tamogatchi

They only had three buttons. Most low maintenance game ever.

19. Silly bands

No competition. I miss OU more.

20. Everything

I miss everything more than OU, and I can't wait to go back in a few short weeks.
