Because I refuse to believe that I am graduating this year.

20 Things College Seniors Are Sick Of Hearing
Elite Daily

Even though I'm only a week into my senior year of college, I'm already sick of it. I'm sick of all of the questions I get from alumni and adults, I'm sick of the pressure, and most of all, I'm sick of knowing that this is my last year in school. That said, I think all of the other seniors will agree with me on the 20 things we're all already sick of hearing.

1. "Do you have a job lined up for next year yet?"

2. "Are you going to have to move back in with your parents?"

3. "Are you super upset that you can't screw around anymore?"

4. "So, are you even going to keep in touch with any of the people you met at school?"

5. "Are you pissed that you didn't meet the love of your life in college?"

6. "Are you worried that you won't find a job?"

7. "Do you think it'll be hard for you, since you didn't have an internship?"

8. "Is it going to suck not living near any of your friends next year?"

9. "How do you feel, knowing that the best four years of your life are almost over?"

10. "Post-grad life sucks, you'll hate it."

11. "This is the last time you get to just party and not worry about money."

12. "Do you think you'll have enough money to support yourself?"

13. "Do you even know what you want to do with your life?"

14. "Your major probably won't even help you get a job."

15. "Do all of your friends have their lives together?"

16. "How doesn't this all stress you out?"

17. "You know, you should really focus more on your future."

18. "Are your parents making you pay rent to live at home?"

19. "You should really be saving more of your money, so that you can move out."

20. "Are you sad that in less than a year you will be a graduate?"

YES, I AM SAD! These questions need to stop, because all they do is remind me that I'm graduating this year, I don't have my life together, and that I don't feel like I have a future ahead of me. Do you want to encourage the future workforce, or depress them?

Send help and feel free to employ me! If not, though, just stop reminding me that this is my last year in college, because I am nowhere near ready to graduate yet.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
