I have always loved music and have a wide range of genres in my iTunes library. Throughout the years, being influenced by my parent's taste in music and giving in to popular tunes, I have created many playlists. My favorite thing to do is to create Mix CD's for my boyfriend and I for our car rides from College to home. These 20 songs are due to my latest mix creation and definitely worth a listen:

1. "Closer" - The Chainsmokers Feat. Halsey

This chart-topper hit has a catchy beat, a strange story line but Halsey's voice makes the song that much better in my opinion.

2. "We Don't Talk Anymore" - Charlie Puth Feat. Selena Gomez

I'm a Gomez fan and love this song hands down.

3. "I Love College" - Asher Roth

Nothing like a college bar theme song that does not portray the true college experience.

4. "Gold" - Kiiara

I have absolutely no idea what she's saying other than 'Gold', but that's totally okay with me.

5. "Show Me" - Kid Ink Feat. Chris Brown

Kid Ink is a personal favorite of mine and I really like this dance-y song with Chris Brown featuring on it.

6. "Bad Blood" - Taylor Swift Feat. Kendrick Lamar

I. love. this. song. Taylor Swift and the Squad kill this music video. I also love how this song can fit for any fight in a relationship, whether it be with a friend or significant other.

7. "Cheap Thrills" - Sia Feat. Sean Paul

No dollar bills needed to enjoy this pop hit.

8. "Timber" - Pitbull Feat. Ke$ha

Ke$ha brings me back to my high school 'Tik Tok' days and this song is just as catchy.

9. "Mean" - Taylor Swift

In my opinion, this is one of T.Swift's best songs ever written. You can put in someone's name that you hate, and it makes this song that much better.

10. "Miss Independent" - Ne-Yo

My girl Gabrielle Union is in this music video and it also has the ability to make any girl feel absolutely self-reliant.

11. "Just Got Paid" - *NSYNC

Oh *NSYNC (sorry Backstreet Boys)... This song still makes me happy on my own payday.

12. "FourFiveSeconds" - Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney

Three voices and genres of music that perfectly fit together in this song.

13. "Iz U Down" - Kid Ink Feat. Tyga

I used to hear this song when I would go out with my friends all the time, and it still is one of those songs that brings back memories for me of fun nights out.

14. "See You Tonight" - Scotty McCreery

Scotty McCreery has such a distinct voice and this song is classic country.

15. "Drank In My Cup" - Kirko Bangz

This song was my favorite Freshman year of College and it takes me right back every time I hear it.

16. "I Knew You Were Trouble" - Taylor Swift

Yes, another Taylor Swift song. I'm a wannabe squad member okay?

17. "Steal My Girl" - One Direction

I have no shame in indulging in this super sweet song by another boy band.

18. "1999" - Prince

My Mom and her friend used to dance to this song, and I also enjoying dancing in the car to this one. His voice was amazing and he is missed in the music world.

19. "U Remind Me" - Usher

One of Usher's best songs. Ever

20. "Boyfriend" - Issues

This 'punk goes pop' song puts J.Biebs original to shame.

Each song is different from the rest, but each flow off of one another. The different genres of Taylor Swift songs, the twist on pop goes punk, some country, an 80's favorite, and some R&B and hip-hop mixed with a 90's boy band favorite all complement one another. Creating songs that are long enough but not too long, having a variety of genres and are upbeat will help any car trip go by that much quicker!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
