I think one of the most important parts of working out is good music. Without the right song with the right beat and lyrics, we're sluggish and out of the zone. But, if you can find the perfect song, or just the right playlist, you'll be able to pull HEAVY weight for hours, come back later, and lift again. I'm always on the prowl for new music, so I figured I'd share a couple songs with you guys, to see if you'd like them.

1. Monster - Meek Mill

My music taste ranges from pop to rap to rock to R&B, so some of these songs might work for you and others may not. But this song should work for everyone. Meek Mill is fire. I know he has that whole beef with Drake and whatever, but he spits bars, and this song just gets me pumped up.

2. Numb/Encore - JAY Z and Linkin' Park

This is a HUGE throwback from when I was in like eighth grade, but it still goes.

3. Trophies - Drake

Another heater thats been around for a couple years. Just makes you feel hyped, man.

4. Give Me A Sign - Breaking Benjamin

I'm a HUGE fan of music that gets me angry. This song gets me mad, for sure.

5. Pittsburgh - The Amity Affliction

My new-found love, The Amity Affliction, put out a solid song with Pittsburgh. I rage to it and lift mad weight.

6. The Downfall of Us All - ADTR

Just an insane intro that will honestly make you want to run through walls.

7. Wild Eyes - Parkway Drive

Again, another absolutely insane intro which will have you lifting triple your previous max.

8. Calm Down - G Eazy

HUGE fan of this guy, always lays it down heavy.

9. Rap God - Eminem

Speaking of white rappers, check this guy out. You might know him.

10. Gordo - Carnage

Pretty short song, but still gets you PUMPED!

11. Down With The Sickness - Disturbed

Pretty well known song, still gets me going every damn time with that drop.

12. IV. sweatpants - Childish Gambino

Childish thooooooo

13. Language - Porter Robinson

EDM is tough with workouts, basically I just try to find the best drops, but this whole song man, something special.

14. Break The Cycle - Motionless in White

15. New Slaves - Kanye West

16. Champions - Kanye West

17. Collard Greens - Schoolboy Q

I love hyped rap

18. Wild Boy - MGK

The OG

19. Lights Out - Breaking Benjamin

20. No Excuses - Timeflies

Thats all I have for you guys! Like I said, my music taste varies heavily between what I like at the gym. I hope some of these work for you guys, though.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
