Lets face it, we all have bad days. Some of those days are tolerable and you can fake your way through it. Other days are so bad that you’re on the verge of snapping and screaming. There’s a source of stress to blame, whether it’s a friend, a coworker, a customer, someone you happen to encounter in passing, or you just feel like the world is out to get you. Anything could be going wrong, but the day just doesn’t seem to be improving. Your anger keeps building and you're getting far too close to reaching a breaking point. To put it bluntly, you just want to tell someone to shove it.
Music is powerful in every form. Playing an instrument can be a form of therapy. Listening to songs can help you to relax or brighten your mood. No matter what the source of stress and anger is for you, I’ve found that one of the best remedies is to belt out a few angry tunes in the privacy of your own room or in the fishbowl that is otherwise known as your car if you’ve got a long drive ahead of you.
Below are 20 songs that I have on a playlist for the days that I need to let a little steam off:

My hope is that after reading this you'll give some of these songs a listen and be inspired to create your own playlist. Maybe you can find one or two new songs that you like, or maybe even find a few new bands to listen to.
