Here at Fairfield University there are some key signs that you've survived freshman year and made it to The Village. Even though we all might miss freshman year, it's nice to feel more at home on campus. These are just a few ways you might realize the differences:
1. Someone at a townhouse asks “who do you know here?” and you can actually give a name.
2. Day drinks on Saturday are expected.
"Wake up at 8 am, ladies! Actually more like 12..."
3. Uber is your BFF.
“Like, all 7 of us can just squeeze right?”
"To the beach please, Sir!"
4. You’re a pro at getting rid of the RA.
"Just about to go in the shower actually."
"I can't believe the Easy Mac burned for the fifth time!"
5. You and your friends are ready for any themed party imaginable.
80s, country club, blacklight, animal theme? We got it all.
6. Someone has snuck their car on campus so Donut Inn runs become part of your daily routine.
7. The Quad seems like a distant land full of fun and blurry memories (unless you got screwed by the lottery).
8. You’re on a first name basis with your favorite Barone worker (HI EDDIE!).
9. You and all your friends could stay at the Claver pregame all night and it would be better then the party.
10. Your quad mates have become your sQuad mates.
11. You’re always down to leave the party early to go eat.
12. You get offended when people ask if you’re a freshman.
13. You kinda sorta maybe know your way around the townhouses by now.
14. You have your go-to in town for when you just need to munch.
Colony, anyone?
15. You've figured out the perfect time to Insta.
16. There’s a solid 15 rompers in your closet.
17. Your group chat keeps expanding.
-Never put your GroupMe on mute.-
18. There’s a celebration when your crew locks in their beach house for senior year.
19. Venmo has become your main form of payment
