Delaware is not only home to Joe Biden and the state that Dead Poets Society was filmed in – it's home to millions of others things such as scrapple, the ever so famous Firefly Music Festival, Pumpkin Chunkin' and the Dogfish Head Brewery. To most Delaware may not seem like much but to me and whole bunch of others – it's home. As someone that has been born and raised in the small wonder there's no mistaking these tall tale signs that you too are from Delaware.

3. You’re bound to run into someone you know whenever you go out.

4. “Vacation” means a trip to Rehoboth

5. Tax-Free shopping is a life-saver

6. NASCAR is worth the traffic to Dover Downs

7. You know the best subs are from Cappriottis

8. You measure distance in minutes

9. Any one from Delaware has an accent

10. You know if someone is from northern, middle, or southern Delaware as soon as they open their mouths.

11. You know about Pumpkin-Chunking and have a favorite chunker.

12. If it takes more than an hour to drive, you’re not going.
