It is the last month of summer break, and the boredom of summer is starting to set in. Most college students will gladly trade the warm weather and a steady job for the opportunity to be back in the atmosphere that college provides. Being back home for summer sounded great after your last final exam was finished, but after a few weeks of being back home you start to crave being back at college. Eating lower-quality food and being tired never sounded so appealing. Here are some things that many students think about during the summer months:
1. At your summer job, all you do is daydream about being back at school.
2. Football season is only a month away, and you start counting down the days.
3. You are thinking about driving to your school on your day off and not coming back.
4. You are going through withdrawals from not seeing the friends you've made at school.
5. After the second week home, you were ready to head back to school.
6. You can almost smell tailgate season in the air.
7. When you walk into a bar at home, you imagine that it's your favorite bar up at school.
8. You log into your school website just to stare at your class schedule for no reason.
9. You'd rather be poor at school instead of having money and being bored at home.
10. Trading your comfy bed at home for your dorm/apartment bed seems pretty good right now.
11. You are starting to miss the cafeteria food and late-night taco bell visits.
12. You'd gladly trade warm weather for cool weather and football.
13. Snapchat stories seem like they have increased exponentially.
14. In your free time you browse Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The cycle is repeated daily over and over again.
15. You are so bored that doing homework sounds somewhat appealing.
16. Playing video games or watching Netflix is getting boring when you are doing it by yourself.
17. It seems that acing a difficult exam is easier than trying to work around your friends' schedules so you can see one another.
18. You start shopping for fall clothes in the middle of summer.
19. Making a checklist for things you need to bring to school is the most exciting thing you've done in weeks.
20. You miss getting up early for class instead of sleeping in back at home.
