7. Whether it was internal or external, you rolled your eyes at least once about a know-it-all Model UN kid during class.
8. You knew that you could get free gumballs from the sketcher’s gum ball machine.
9. You went to the hometown fair every year, and every year you realized there was still nothing fun to do there. Or you came home with 10 goldfish.
10. One of your friend’s parents is a real estate agent. If not, your parent is probably the real estate agent.11. Cody Simpson may or may not have been your neighbor. Even if he wasn’t, you definitely ran into him.
12. You’ve been to The Kettle at least a hundred times. 50% of those times were in the middle of the night.
13. Going to the beach near the pier is for tourists. It's all about 14th or 18th street.14. Having an insanely talented drama and band department and not even realizing it until you see them in action.
15. Everyone did MBYB and AYSO. And if your team won, you posted about it on Facebook.
16. Going to football games just to hang out with your friends. Or, if you’re like me, only attending the homecoming game and leaving after half time.
17. Never wearing shoes in the summer unless they were your rainbows.
18. If you didn’t see someone you know at Target, did you really go to Target?
19. Going to Coffee Bean to study. Not studying at all at Coffee Bean.
20. If you attended Mira Costa before 2015, you knew who Mr. Heideman was.
Whether you had him as a teacher or not, he never failed to put a smile on your face whilst blowing bubbles during the passing period or going all out on Halloween. Rest in peace, Mr. Heideman, and thank you for the impact you've left on all of your students.
