20 Signs You Should Do College Over Again
The Consummate Dabbler

They say college is the best four years of your life. While that's very true, no one tells you how you may feel after graduation, regardless of whether or not you're employed. For those who have happily accepted a full-time job, I congratulate you for your step into the real professional world.

For the others, it is completely OKAY.

Who says getting a job straight out of college will guarantee success in the long run? Nobody, that's who. Whatever your current situation is, it doesn't mean you can't have major college withdrawals and want to do college all over again.

1. You find yourself thinking about what could've happened if you picked another major

2. You're always scrolling through invite pictures and those with your sorority

3. You look at your past exams and tests and everything makes SO MUCH sense to you now than it did before

4. (continued) such that you want to retake all your exams and to know you'll nail them all

5. You can't bear with yourself deleting all the college assignments from your laptop

6. You cry at the thought of your favorite professor

7. You smile when you sift through piles and piles of your club/sorority/fraternity clothes

8. You know you will forever miss summer and winter breaks

9. You look forward being on campus with your best buds and reminiscing all the great times you had

10. You cry at the thought of having to pay your own food now moving forward

11. You miss, A LOT, free campus food

12. And that free *insert campus name* swag

13. You miss living with your roommates and best friends

14. You probably won't ever be able to have a kickback at your place just like you did in college

15. Think about the "better" internships you would've gotten

16. And how much more hard work you would put into your studies

17. You would relive graduation day over and over again

18. You don't want to move out and start becoming an adult

19. You miss the failures without consequences you can continue to make over and over again in college

20. You miss the idea of not having any major responsibilities except for studying and getting internships

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
