"The Proud Family.'' "That's So Raven." "Phil of the Future." "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody." "Even Stevens." "Kim Possible." Hannah Montana." "Wizards of Waverly Place." A.k.a. the Golden Age of Disney Channel. This was a time of simplicity, innocence, and Jonas Brothers cameos. It was a time of double identities, being a wizard and pretending not to be, being a psychic and pretending not to be, and being from the future. It was an easier time, long before they decided to make a show about a dog with lopsided ears who can talk and somehow writes a blog without opposable thumbs with which to type. It was a better time. And it's still really relatable.

1. When you're home and it's 11 p.m. and you go to the kitchen to make a snack and your mom gives you a disapproving look:

2. When your sibling owes you money, and you know they have it, so you walk into their room like:

3. When the teacher gives the class a huge project on Friday and says it's due the following Monday:

4. When you just got your teeth cleaned at the dentist and you know they lookin' shiny:

5. When you see the booty:

6. When you say something that you shouldn't have and you offend someone so you try to cover your ass:

8. When you put deodorant on in the morning:

9. When you think of a song and then that song comes on the radio:

10. When you accidentally fall in love with a stranger on the street and immediately begin planning your future together:

11. When you haven't had dinner yet so you drive to Chick-Fil-A but as soon as you get there you realize it's Sunday:

12. When you're walking and get stuck behind a group of people going so slow but you can't get around them:

13. When you thought the argument was over but then they say something under their breath:

14. When you're in the checkout line at the grocery store with your mom and you're almost up and she says she has to go grab one more thing really quick:

15. When class ends but the professor tries to keep everyone back to finish the discussion:

16. When you and your other single friend are out in public and a couple starts making out right near you:

17. When somebody really cool asks you what you're interested in and you want to sound hip and sophisticated even though you're not:

18. When a member of the squad says something insane and looks to everyone else for backup:

19. When the teens of today have so many different social media apps and you're still figuring out Instagram:

20. When your mom asked you to empty the dishwasher before she got home and you forgot to do it and you hear her car pull into the driveway:

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
