20 Reasons Why I Stand with Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has been getting a lot of hate the past few weeks. Although many might think it is the typical “haters” who are causing all of this drama, it’s not. This time, the hate is coming from fellow celebrities.

Usually, Swift gets hate from normal people about her relationships or her songs or her, but this time its is from people who are in the same business as Taylor and just want to ruin her reputation.

Taylor does a great job of defending herself and not really caring about what others think, but the events of the past few weeks have made Swifties mad. All of us Swifties have banned together many times in defending our queen.

After all of these “Twitter fights” have gone down, Swifties made a hashtag that trended worldwide: #IStandWithTaylor

Now I am not here to bash anyone or call anyone out, I am just writing this to simply inform you why I will always support the fellow Pennsylvanian.

So with that being said, here are some reasons why I will ALWAYS be #TeamTaylor :

1. She ‘Shakes Off’ the Haters

2. She Dances like nobody's watching

3. She has been giving us hair goals since 2008

4.She always keeps us guessing with her albums

Will it be Country, Pop, or something else?

5. She had the most successful crossover from Country to Pop

6. She loves her cats like they are her children

7. You can always count on her to have fun at award shows

8. She is friends with her celebrity crush, Justin Timberlake

If that's not goals then I don't know what is.

9. She has the best and very catchy songs

I am always singing Blank Space.

10. She loves her fans

I mean she invited them over her house....

11. She’s gorgeous

12. Her squad is literally goals

Those Taylena feels

13. She is a great role model/inspires people

14. She shows us that it is ok to embrace the dork in all of us

15. She is so humble, generous, and kind

16. She is always shocked that she wins awards over others and is more excited when her friends win

17. Her award speeches are the best

18. She is always more excited when her friends win awards

19. She puts on the best concerts

20. She continues to spread positivity

I will always have mad love for Taylor Swift and never stop supporting her. If she says she co-wrote a song or didn’t approve of a lyric I believe her. We need to stop with the hate and embrace the goddess that is Taylor Swift.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
