We all have our pet peeves. From people chewing gum loudly to someone walking slow in front of you, I have a compiled a list of things that I find annoying and others may find annoying too. If these things get on your nerves as much as they get on mine, you are not alone.

1. People who say "like" in almost every sentence.

"I was like...and then she was like..." Alright already. We get it!

2. People who smoke in front of non-smokers.

As an asthmatic, I find it very inconsiderate for a person to smoke right near me because cigarette smoke bothers my asthma.

3. That one loudmouth in class who thinks he/she knows everything.

Alright Mr./Miss Perfect, let someone else answer a question for once, will ya?

4. People who play with their phone when it's time to eat as a family.

Family is way more important than whoever is texting you at the moment.

5. People who go speeding through the crosswalk when they clearly see you trying to cross the street.

Whatever happened to giving pedestrians the right of way?

6. People who whine and complain about getting a B on a test.

Hey Whiney Pants, a B is a good grade. At least you didn't fail.

7. Parents who do nothing to control their screaming kid in public.

And they wonder why their kid misbehaves in the first place.

8. When your cat gets right in the way of where you need to go.

This happens to me quite often. When I need to get by, my cat just flops down right in the way of where I'm walking.

9. People who assume Chinese, Japanese, and Korean people are all the same.

Three different cultures, three different languages, three different countries. Stop making up silly stereotypes!

10. People who talk too loud in the library.

Seriously, go be obnoxious somewhere else instead of disturbing others who are trying to study.

11. Loud talkers in general.

Apparently, some people think they need to talk at 100 decibels to make sure everyone hears them. News flash: others can hear if you talk at a normal volume.

12. When someone walks super slow in front of you.

*internally screaming*

13. Loud gum chewers.

*Facepalm*

14. Line cutters.

Um hello, DID YOU NOT SEE ME STANDING RIGHT THERE? How rude!

15. When people say "suck it up" or "get over it" when someone is crying or feeling upset.

So, so disrespectful. Whatever happened to comforting or hugging an upset person? At least give them a shoulder to cry on, for goodness sake.

16. Today's music.

Modern songs are a disgrace to the music industry. Seriously, who wants to listen to songs about sex all the time?

17. Drivers who don't use their blinkers when turning or changing lanes.

Nice blinker you got there!

18. Vulgar conversations at the dinner table.

Seriously, save the toilet humor for another time!

19. Flies that swarm around food at a cookout.

Hands down the most annoying insects on this planet.

20. The ridiculous cost of college.

Don't even get me started on this one....

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
