20 One-Liners You'll Find In EVERY Roommate Group Chat
Huff Post

If you are a college student, and you aren't one of those lucky people who have a single, you have roommates, and I can almost guarantee that you have a group chat, thanks to Apple.

If you have an Android, I am sorry because this doesn't apply to you.

In today's digital age, every friend group, group of roommates and team, in one form or another, have a way of communicating all at once. You know the never-ending notifications, the confusion if you don't save any numbers, and especially the annoying people who have a personal conversation that could easily be in its own text thread.

Here are 20 one-liners that I guarantee you have said in your roommate group chat.

1. " Does anyone care if my best friend from home comes for the weekend?"

2. "Hey, does anyone know where my phone charger is?"

3. "We need more toilet paper"

4. "Has anyone seen my other moccasin?"

5. "Does this look okay?"

6. "Can I borrow someone's hair straightener?"

7. "Who was the one who came home super late and left the bathroom light on?"

8. "I can't go out I have to work tomorrow"

9. "I have no money"

10. "Whose turn is it to DD?"

11. "What's the plan for tonight?"

12. "I am going home this weekend."

13. "I am so hungover omg"

14. "Does anyone feel like going to Chipotle?"

15. "I'm going to get a coffee what do you guys want?"

16. "Anyone feel like ordering food?"

17. "I need an outfit for tonight does anyone want to go to the mall?"

18. "Will someone please come to the dining hall with me?"

19. "Is anyone in the room?"

20. "I forgot my ID. Can someone let me in?"

Living in college, or with roommates anywhere, is an exciting time. It is a time that we grow as individuals, learn a lot about ourselves and do some questionable things on the weekend.

Don't get annoyed by your roomie group chat, be thankful that it exists and we have the technology to always stay connected. You only get 4 chances to have amazing roommates, embrace every second

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
