One of the many reasons I love musical theatre, is that there is a song for every mood, every day, and every season. Especially summer time. When it's too hot outside, or your chilling by the pool, there's a show tune for it all.

One of this season's biggest arrivals. This song is the perfect song to get anyone hype to start something new.

You know those days when you just want to bake? There's a song for that. Sugar, butter, and flour won't let you down...even if you are working for that bikini bod you deserve a sweet snack every once in a while.

3. Play, Finding Neverland

This song brings out the little kid inside anyone. For those days when you just want to have fun and be a little kid again. Remember how fun your summers were when you're little? This is that captured in song form.

4. Walking In The Rain, Beautiful

Those rainy summer days you just want to spend cuddled up to someone close? This song captures that perfectly. It gives you a warm cuddly feeling despite the rain.

5. Out Tonight, Rent

For those nights when you're really feeling yourself before going out for a night on the town with your friends.

6. Dancing Queen, Mama Mia

Is any musical theatre playlist really complete without this song? You are the dancing queen, young and free, so have some fun this summer and dance a little!

7. You Will Be Found, Dear Evan Hansen

Sometimes those summer days can get a little lonely. Things can change over the summer, but this song is an amazing reminder that you will be found. There's always someone that cares about you.

Another of this seasons newbies, this song is a fantastic song to belt your heart out to, and find time to do something for yourself this summer.

While this song may not be the greatest to dance and pump yourself up to, it's the perfect song just to relax to. It's nice just to lay down and listen to something relaxing before all your crazy summer plans.

10. Non-Stop, Hamilton

Sometimes summer days seem like they're non-stop crazy chaos. This is the perfect song for those days where there seem to be too many things to do. It's one of the greatest motivators I know.

11. King Of New York, Newsies

For those days you just feel like dancing and you feel like the king of the world, king of your bedroom, and king of New York, this song is the perfect song to get your feet tapping to.

12. Journey To The Past, Anastasia

For the 90's kid we all once were and still are, this song is a throwback and a great one. It's perfect for those days you want to feel like a little kid again, and who can resist Christy Altamore's beautiful voice?

13. Jet Set, Catch Me If You Can

For all your summer travels and family vacations, always remember: The jet set is the only way to go!

14. Blackout, In The Heights

When it's a billion degrees and the power goes out, this is the perfect song to jam to in the sticky heat. It may be hot, but this song is hotter.

For those days when the summer job seems like too much, just remember that "no one tells you stop"

An oldie, but a goodie! This song is a great song to jam to in the car in the shower, basically anywhere, and it's a song to jam to with your parents!

A song that can make you feel like you're taking over the world. It's the perfect pump up song for when you're feeling a little low, because you're stronger and can conquer any demon that comes your way.

"There's nothing like summer in the city" and there's nothing like jamming with your girls on a hot summer day. Whether by the pool, at the movies, or strolling through the city, you're always looking fresh, you're always looking pretty.

19. 96,000, In The Heights

The perfect summer dance song. Roll your windows down and blast this song, It may be a billion degrees outside, but it's never too hot for a dance party or to win the lottery.

20. Seasons Of Love, Rent

Another musical theatre playlist must have. After it's all said and done, you'll look back at the summer and remember all the moments and memories you made this summer. Just a portion of the 525,600 minutes out of your summer.
