You still don't feel like an adult, yet technically you're no longer a teenager. You know there's quite a bit left to learn in life, but you've managed to gain some information throughout your 20 years.

2. Sibling rivalry never ends.

3. The right friends will always have your back.


4. No matter how close you are to your roommate or friends, you’re likely to get into fights.

5. Being single while all of your friends are in relationships.

6. Someday you hope to find your lobster.

7. Honesty is the best policy.

You can't say that your mom said no anymore when you just don't want to do something.

8. You’re bound to gain some weight.

9. Life won’t always go your way.

10. You suck at making life decisions.

11. Pizza everyday is okay.

12. Naps are essential.

"I'm going to get cranky."

13. Flirting doesn't get easier.

"What's the worst thing that can happen?"

14. More sarcastic every year.

15. You and friends will forever have dumb ideas, and go through with them.

16. You’ll make friends that you’re too close to.

17. Sometimes you need to lie when people ask how life is going.


18. Plans after graduation.


19. You're still not a morning person.

20. You have more tears than you ever knew.

College is rough.

When you turn 20 you start to see that you still have so much time ahead of you, with 20 years behind you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots.
