Being in your 20s is this weird stage in life that is so free, yet you feel so lost. However, embracing those moments of complete confusion is what makes this decade so special and also 10 years of learning and growing as a person.

Here are 20 lessons to embrace in your 20s.

1. It is OK to struggle.

It seems like everyone wants to portray that they are 100% OK. But, we all struggle. Connect together through those times.

2. Transitions are uncomfortable.

This season of life is full of constant change. Yes, it might be uncomfortable, but if you stay intentional and calm through those time, those transitions will become the most important seasons of your life.

3. Your worth is not based on followers.

Especially within our culture, social media controls and dictates. Remeber, your worth does not equate to how many followers you have.

4. You will lose people along the way.

This season of life can feel lonely at times. You might lose friends along the way, but you will also meet the people that will be in your life forever.

5. Failure just furthers your growth.

You will fail and that is OK. Learn and grow from it.

6. Learn.

Just because you are finishing school doesn't mean you should stop learning. Try to absorb knowledge everywhere you go.

7. Be creative.

Open your mind and tap into your creative side. Create. Create. Create.

8. You will learn your values.

The things we go through in this season will only establish and ground who you are and your values.

9. Dreams don't happen overnight.

Your dreams might take time, but continue to pursue them whole-heartedly.

10. Take risks.

Go for what you want. Simple as that.

11. Don't care so much about what others think.

Easier said than done, but it will increase your happiness and fulfillment when you are not searching for your worth in others.

12. Be present.

This is such a simple task, yet so often we are not. Being more present can fulfill our souls in a way nothing else can.

13. Love yourself.

Once again, easier said than done, but so important to enjoying this season of life, and any season of life.

14. Don't give up.

When it gets hard, don't do it. There are people out there that need your mind, your creativity, your passions, and your dreams.

15. Awkward is OK.

Be weird and awkward. It is OK... we are all awkward at times.

16. Drink coffee... and often.

Simple as that.

17. Drink wine... and often.

Once again, simple.

18. Adapt.

Adapt and then adapt again, then again, and again. It will make you more well-rounded.

19. Forgive.

Forgiveness is empowering.

20. Savor this time.

We will never be this young again, so savor every minute and be present, in the good and the bad.
