The Every Girl

A lot of people complain about being single, but I think that as long as you have a great group of friends that stick by your side, the grass is just as green for us single folk. (Sometimes even greener!) Here are just some of the reasons why my hoes are so much better than any bro I've been with, and who else would be better to help prove it than Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte.

1. Our sappy texts telling each other how much we care for one another are better than anything a boy has ever sent to me

Hearing how much your best friends care about you are 1000 times better than any unwanted nude.

2. No relationship with a bro has ever been as good as the one with my hoes

You'd never have to guess "what are we?" with your hoes.

3. My hoes are my biggest supporters

They've always got my back... and my hair.

4. My hoes love to gossip as much as I do

5. My hoes don't waste my time

6. No bro laughs at my jokes as hard as they do

7. My hoes will stay by my side, even when life gets tough

8. When one of us is upset, we'll show up with junk food and cheer each other up

McDonald's is a must.

9. Our relationship can actually withstand long distance

Summer break got nothing on us.

10. When you mess up, they'll be there to help you laugh it off, and then help you stand back up and try again

11. My hoes help push me to be a better and stronger person

12. I can tell my hoes anything, especially things you would never want to talk to a guy about

13. I could spend all day with my hoes and have the time of my life. A few hours in with a bro and I'm looking for the exit signs

14. My hoes understand the importance of a great picture

My Instagram feed, and my life, revolves around them.

15. My hoes don't judge me when I eat a lot. Hell, they'll join in with me

16. My hoes will never tell me "I've had a few too many," they'll be throwing back the drinks as fast as I am

"Drink up, bitch."

17. My hoes will never make me feel bad for being myself. They bring out my best self

18. My hoes don't bitch if I go out two nights in a row, they're the ones that usually invited me to both parties

"Get dressed, we're going out."

19. My hoes always make sure I get back home, safe and sound

20. When one of these said "bros" tries to sneak his way back into your life, your hoes will be there to support you, no matter what decision you make

They'll be ready with pitchforks for when he screws up again.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
