As everyone who knows me well, they know that I love horror or Halloween themed movies. They are the best types of movies in my opinion and I think that they can be watched any time in the year, no matter what. But there are some horror and/or Halloween movies that must be watched during the Fall, especially during the month of October. So here are some of my favorites whether you are cuddling up with your Fall bae, your best friends with mountains of wine and cookie dough ice cream, or yourself because you bought some pumpkin pie. No matter what the reason, feel free to cuddle up with some cozy blankets and watch a few or all of these movies.

1. "Halloweentown"

This one kind of signifies all of the "Halloweentown" movies, because they are amazing. But we'll just have to look at the fact that they replaced Marney in the fourth movie because that one is still pretty good too!

2. "Halloweentown: Kalabar's Revenge"

I gave the second Halloweentown movie it's own number because IT IS THAT GOOD. Don't @ me.

3. "Friday the 13th"

It doesn't matter which one either. Just watch one of the many.

4. "Casper the Friendly Ghost"

Such a cute little classic. I love every rendition of this ghost, whether it be the TV show or all of the movies.

5. "Hocus Pocus"

I PUT A SPELL ON YOU!

6. "Don't Look Under The Bed"

This movie LEGIT gave me nightmares as a child but also weirdly enough was one of my favorites. Clearly, I was a peculiar child.

7. "Twitches"

The "Twitches Too" movie is just as good and deserves a watch too!

8. "Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire"

9. "Fright Night" (2011)

I honestly didn't know there were other "Fright Night" movies until writing this article but I like this one so... here you go.

10. "The Haunted Mansion"

Another cult classic in the Disney world.

11. "Scream"

I love all of the "Scream" movies, arguably my favorite horror movies despite a lot of their death scenes being very funny to me.

12. "The Nightmare Before Christmas"

Snaps for Tim Burton.

13. "Under Wraps"

14. "Scary Movie"

These are less scary or horror but more just some comedy to watch in between all the scaring this Halloween. My favorite movies are the first two but all of them are so funny. Except for the fifth one... the fifth one is a disgrace.

15. "Saw"

16. "The Purge"

"The Purge" movies always kind of mess me up because could you only imagine? I personally would launder money from people from the safety of my panic room during the Purge but that's just me

17. "The Nightmare on Elm Street"

Just like with the "Friday the 13th" movies, you can watch any of these adaptions and be a-okay!

18. "It" (2017)

19. "The Silence of the Lambs"

20. "Carrie" (2013)

Just don't even bother with the 1979 and the 1997 version, they are both horrible. Just skip straight ahead to the 2013 version and save yourself some very heavy eye-rolling.

21. "The Craft"

Now, THIS is a cult classic like none other! I give it 5/5 stars.

22. "Beetlejuice"

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! Oh, I said it three times didn't I? Oops!

23. "The Addams Family Movie"

24. "Disturbia"

I really couldn't care less if you do not like Shia Labeouf or not but you HAVE to watch this movie. It is one seriously messed up thriller.

25. "The Little Vampire"

One of my ALL time favorite Disney Halloween movies! I mean come on, just look at their cute little faces.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
