When we were kids, we never realized how hard life could be. We played outside 'til the sun went down and on those rainy days we would pop in our favorite Disney classics and just sit and watch the magic unfold in front of us. As we grew older and life started becoming cold, we returned to those Disney movies and discovered they have a way with words. Here are some of the best Disney quotes to get you through those days when you feel like giving up.

1. "Just keep swimming!"- Dory

Life got you down? Just follow what Dory says and just keep swimming. Life will get you down but it is your choice to keep on keeping on.

2. "The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all."- The Emperor

You are worthy. You are enough. And if you have had to live through troubles and still survived, you are that much more special. Just because someone else can't see it, doesn't mean it's not true.

3. "Oh, yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it."- Rafiki

We all make mistakes. The past hurts but you can't move forward by looking in the past. You have to learn from it and move on.

4. "You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."- Christopher Robin

Christopher just has a way with words.

5. "Vincit qui se vincit."- Beauty and the Beast

OK, so this wasn't actually said in the movie, but it does appear on the stained glass at the beginning. The Latin phrase means "He conquers, who conquers himself." If you can overcome your doubting mind, you can overcome anything.

6. "Sometimes the right path is not the easiest one."- Grandmother Willow

To change our future, we have to be open to change. What is best for us isn't always the easiest decision to make, but it is the right decision.

7. "Your identity is your most valuable possession. Protect it."- Helen Parr, Elastigirl

Your differences make you unique and who you are. If you keep changing who you are to please the people around you, you will lose what makes you special. The people you need to keep in your life are those who love you from the inside out.

8. "Let it go!"- Elsa

Just let it go. Things don't always go as planned and the best thing you can do is to channel your inner Elsa. Besides, who doesn't want to walk with that much sass?

9. "I know every mile will be worth my while. I will go most anywhere to feel like I belong."- Hercules

The journey is long, but it is worth it. One day, you will find where you belong and it will be worth the wait.

10. "No, I won't stop. For every minute of the rest of my life I will fight."- Rapunzel

Rapunzel fought for her dreams and look where it got her! In order to win anything, you have to fight for it.

11. "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."- Lilo and Stitch

Family will always be there for you no matter what. Don't be scared to ask them for help.

12. "You just focused on the bad stuff when all you had to do was let go of the past and keep moving forward."- Lewis

If all you look at is your past, you cannot move into your future. Yes, you should learn from the mistakes you've made but learn and leave the rest in the past. If you focus on the bad of the past, how will you move to a better future?

13. "Hakuna Matata. It means no worries for the rest of your days. It's our problem-free philosophy."- Timon and Pumba

If there is anyone else who knows how to live the carefree life, it is Timon and Pumba. Though worrying about your future and the things going on in your life is normal, don't let it control you. Just remember Hakuna Matata!

14. "The only way to get what you want in this world is through hard work."- Tiana

Tiana is one of the only Disney princesses to have a job and though she wishes on a star, she knows that it will take hard work (and double shifts) to make her dreams come true.

15. "Look for the bare necessities. The simple bare necessities. Forget about your worry and your strife!"- Baloo

Worries are not part of the bare necessities so set all those aside and go dance!

16. "Cheer up child, it'll turn out all right in the end. You'll see."- Mrs. Potts

Mrs. Potts just knows what to say to make things all right. No matter how bad things seem, they will get better. You just have to see it through.

17. "YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. GO! CONFRONT THE PROBLEM. FIGHT. WIN!"- Edna Mode

For the pep talk of a lifetime, listen to Edna.

18. "There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it."- Merida

Our fate isn't something that is predestined and that we have no control over. Our fate is up to us.

19. "The seaweed is always greener in somebody else's lake."- Sebastian

Someone's life will always seem better than yours, but you can't live like that. After all, who really advertises their faults?

20. "All the adversity I've had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me... You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you."- Walt Disney

Life isn't perfect by any means, but everything you go through will make you a stronger person. The people who come in and out of your life will teach you invaluable lessons and the failures you have will only make you smarter. You can believe things will always turn sour or you can be strong and know that there is sunshine behind those dark clouds and it's just a matter of time before you feel the warmth again.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
