For most of us, college is a completely new world. These four years are where we find ourselves and begin the rest of our lives. Sometimes emotions run high, and this experience can feel overwhelming, so here are 20 verses to always keep in mind.
When you are anxious about something:
Matthew 6:34 - “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Proverbs 3:5 – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.”
Philippians 4:6 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but instead pray about everything.”
When you are missing someone:
Genesis 31:49 – “But it was also called Mizpah (watchtower) for Laban said, “May the LORD keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other.”
When you are feeling angry:
Ephesians 4:26 – “In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.”

When you are brokenhearted:

When you feel like everything is changing:
Ecclesiastes 3:1 – “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.”
Hebrews 13:8 - “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
When you need to be reminded:
John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not parish but have eternal life.”
Romans 5:8 – “but God shows his love for us in that while we are still sinners, Christ died for us.”
