When you are out on your own, you need a job to be able to pay the bills. When you are at this job, it can get hard. If you're anything like me, you pretty much end up at work all the time. Here are just some of the thoughts that run through my mind:

1. "Is it just me, or does this place have a smell to it?"

2. "Yeah this place has a smell to it, and I smell like it."

3. "Wow. The weather is so nice! Too bad I am stuck inside all day."

4. "Why are some of these people in here all the time? Does the term 'regular' equate to having no life?"

5. "I miss my friends."

6. "I miss having a life."

7. "When's my next day off again?"

8. "Wow, I am being called in on my day off."

9. "Why do I never say no?"

10. "Oh yeah, it's cause I am broke. That's right."

11. "Well, time to send that text canceling plans for tonight because I now have to work."

12. "Wow. My friends already knew I got called in."

13. "I have never been so sick of one place."

14. "My coworkers probably know way too much about my personal life at this point."

15. "Wait, if my coworkers know this much about me, why do I never hang out with them outside of this place?"

16. "Oh yeah, it's cause we are all always here. Like, always."

17. "I have a countdown until my next day off."

18. "I may always be here, but I actually do love my job."

19. "I have had a couple days off, I can't wait to get back to work."

It sucks that you're always there sometimes, but it's always worth it in the end. You get a paycheck, some great experiences, and great people. Honestly, having a job is one of the best things for somebody. It may be overwhelming, and at times you are completely exhausted, but it will always be worth it in the end. Always.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
