Whether you're a PC gamer or prefer console, there are just some undeniable truths about being a gamer. This list is dedicated to the gamers of the world, guys or girls, young and old. Just as long as you're not a mobile gamer.

1. Forgetting to save after hours of progress.

There's a feeling of hopelessness followed by anger at your own stupidity after you forget to save and you quit or the game crashes.

2. Finding the right spot.

Whether you play PC or console, there's a certain way you have to sit in order to play your game comfortably.

3. The PC versus Console rivalry.

4. You find yourself speaking in gamer language.

I've found myself doing this too many times, even with simple things like 'gg.'

5. Having a girlfriend or boyfriend to play games with.

My boyfriend and I are an unstoppable team in H1Z1. There's something great about being able to kick butt alongside your significant other.

6. Video games are pieces of art.

Take, for example, "The Last of Us" (above), or "The Witcher III: Wild Hunt" (below). There are so many games out there that not only are filled with rich storytelling and gameplay, but beautiful graphics.

7. The feeling you get after pulling an all-night gaming session.

You know you're making a mistake but, somehow, you don't care.

8. Beating your siblings

Nothing is sweeter than beating the crap out of your siblings while playing your favorite game (or better yet, theirs).

9. And for the oldest kid, always being Player One.

They got the worst characters, the worst controllers and, for the littlest ones, an unplugged controller when you didn't want to have to share.

10. There will come a day when even the most even-tempered gamer will rage quit.

There comes a time in all gamers' lives where a rage quit will happen. Whether it's because you've been knifed too many times or can't get past a certain part, it will be uncontrollable and maybe a little embarrassing after the fact.

11. This undeniable logic.

12. The obsession with reloading.

And it's usually when you pretty much have a full mag.

13. Not being taken seriously if you're a girl gamer.

14. People who screen peek are the worst.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

15. Having friends who play on different platforms.

16. Wanting a battlestation like this:

17. Or this:

18. Twitch.tv is a wonderful and entertaining thing.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
