We all have that one song that automatically hits the feels, whether it was your senior prom song or a song that you may have been named after. Either way, the song produces a sense of nostalgia and brings up an automatic memory. Here's a list of songs that described the last 18 years and may have even described your first 18 years of life, as they did for me.

Birth: "In da club" - 50 cent

Perfectly described in the song, it's your birthday, however you weren't doing much partying at that age.

1: "1999" - Prince

No better song for this year. People partied hard going into the turn of the century and there's no better person to sing this song than Prince.

2: "Problem" - Ariana Grande

Terrible two's. Trust me, you're a problem to your parents!

3: "We Will" J. Papoulis

9/11/2001, the world was forever changed. This is the first terrorist attack this generation had to live through and unfortunately it wasn't the last.

4: "ABC" - Jackson 5

It's time for preschool and that means learning your ABC's with a little help from the Jackson 5.

5: "True Friend" - Hannah Montana

First days of kindergarten and you get to meet so many new people. This is the year your life has finally begun and you make the friends that last you at least the next 13 years of your life!

6: "Pokemon Theme Song"

Pokemon literally consumes your life to the point where you can name every Pokemon, their power, and if they're worth the trade.

7: "7 Years" - Lukas Graham

This year is just a play on words for this year you turned 7!

8: "18" - 5 Seconds of Summer

Only 10 more years! (It seemed like a milestone at the time.)

9: "That Girl (Drama Queen)" - Lindsay Lohan

If this age was for everyone else what it was for me, then you know your life was literally just drama.

10: "Forever Young" - Rod Stewart

You reached your first age milestone, turning double digits! Although you now have two numbers in your age you can't forget that you are still a kid.

11: "Low" - Flo Rida

Let's be honest with ourselves here, we all danced obnoxiously-- and ridiculously-- to this song at every middle school dance we went to.

12: "Teenage Dirtbag" - Weedus

Only one more year until you officially become a teenager and all the baggage involved with it.

13: "Numb" - Linkin Park/

We all remember in 2012 the end of the world was supposed to occur. If you've ever listened to this song all it talks about is how it's the end. Leave it to Linkin Park to write a song that could relate to the end of the world.

14: "Love Story" - Taylor Swift

At this age you maybe start to realize that boys and girls don't actually have cooties. You may go through your first heart break or find your one true love. No one really knows what will happen, but just remember that you're beautiful.

15: "Shut up and Drive" - Rhianna

Another play on words because this is the year most teenagers are able to take drivers ed and start driving. Watch out world we're growing up!

16: "Skinny Love" - Bon Iver

Being a 16 year old girl once myself, we all go through a stage where you are completely insecure. This song doesn't necessarily touch on this subject but if you interpret the words correctly it perfectly describes this.

17: "I just Can't wait to be King" - The Lion King

You're a junior in high school and you just can't wait to become a senior and rule the school. Having been in this position, however, don't rush time.

18: "Amnesia" - 5 Seconds of Summer

This is it. You turn 18 this year, graduate high school, say your 'See ya laters', and start the journey into adulthood. Now that you've finally reached this point in your life, you would do anything to go back and do it again.

Fall 2016: "Start of Something New" - "High School Musical"

Saying goodbye to something old and hello to something new just like Troy and Gabriella did in the original High School Musical. You've ended high school and now are starting your new chapter in College. It really is the start of something new.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
