Do you remember when you were younger, and you would walk by a toy store and be in awe at all of the new stuff in the windows? You knew you needed everything without knowing how you would be able to pay for it?

That is how I feel, at 20 years old, when I scroll through the new arrivals on Bergdorf Goodman's website. Getting excited over high fashion that my student loans will not even let me think about purchasing.

I feel like a little kid in a candy store when I look at all of the new collections that Bergdorf's has to offer. As a fashion student, I love to look at the latest fashion trends on my own time which is why you can always find me checking out the new arrivals at Bergdorf Goodman. Below you will find some must-haves from Bergdorf's Goodman's current Fall collections.

1. Classic Gucci booties

I have been obsessed with these booties since last Spring. While not a new addition to Fall, these classic Gucci booties will continue to be seen everywhere. They can be worn with a girly dress as seen here or with a leather jacket for an added edge.

2. Asymmetric Apparel

A big trend I noticed for the Fall has been the incorporation of asymmetry in dresses, coats and skirts. I loved the asymmetry in the hem of this Diane Von Furstenberg dress. It looks super comfortable, light and fun. Especially if you live in Texas, like I do, where fall is usually more like summer, temperature wise.

3. Low-High blouses

This might be one of my favorite pieces. I found it intriguing that it was lower in the front than in the back unlike the traditional high-low silhouette. Balenciaga's version of this trend is elegant and fun with its polka dot design.

4. Los Angeles meets business casual

This fringe blazer immediately caught my eye, it made me think of my best friend who's style represents a unique Los Angeles style. This blazer by Cinq A Sept is different from anything I have seen before and is a great addition to Fall 2018! Complete your look with these fun pants by Diane von Furstenberg.

5. Stripes for life

I'm loving this vertically striped button-down by Alice + Olivia because you get the professionalism of a button-down with an accentuating tie around the waist.

6. Over the Shoulder LBD

This popular over-the-shoulder silhouette from the summer is following us into the Fall with this sophisticated Little Black Dress. Dress it up even more with this classic pair of Louboutin's.

7. Mesh mock

Chloe is known for their exquisite embroidery, and I was not disappointed with this tulle-embroidered mesh mock-neck top. It can be paired beautifully with slacks or dark jeans for a more casual look.

8. Cropped jumpsuits

This print, length and silhouette are perfect for Fall. I probably stared at this for a good 15 minutes. I am obsessed with shoes, and the fact that this jumpsuit would be able to show them off made me fall in love.

9. Belt Bags

I am not a huge fan of fanny packs because there have not been many efforts put into their exterior, but Gucci went out of their way with this chic bag with a gold strap that I would be willing to wear every day.

10. Givenchy's LBD

You can "slip" into this LBD for a lightweight, yet classy, dress. Keep it simple with black pumps as to not distract from the lace detailing.

11. Feather cocktail dress

This cocktail dress by Pamella Roland gives some nostalgic 1920s vibes with its ombre feather detailing. I would love to twirl around in this!

12. Camel is the new black

This camel color will be seen everywhere this coming Fall, and it looks great on these suede Manolo's, all wrapped up in a cute bow. Wear these with skinny blue jeans and a cardigan for a casual look this Fall!

13. Bodysuits for life

I didn't get into the bodysuit trend until this summer, so I am glad I will have more time to enjoy it into the fall! I loved this one shoulder version. Pair it with this beautiful statement necklace by Oscar de la Renta.

14. Belting it

I have always wanted to own the classic black Gucci belt to make all of my outfits look instantly bougie. This one adds to its class with crystal detailing. Wrap a belt around your favorite printed kimono for form fitting look.

15. Sneak up

A continuing trend into Fall is fashion sneakers. They are comfortable, and these Louboutin's are sure to dress up anything.

16. Gym chic

Athleisure is a confusing concept for some, but this pair of leather look-a-like workout leggings is sure to tie it together. I always have a better workout when I feel cute, and these are sure to do the trick!

17. Printed loafers

If you are like me, and you like to let your shoes make the statement most of the time, then you will love this pair of Louboutin loafers. Leopard, studs and embroidery are sure to catch anyone's eye. Wear these with skinny pants or this simple fit and flare dress.

What are you loving at your favorite store right now?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
