There are certain things we come across in life that just bring along a feeling of genuine happiness along with them. These things brighten our days and bring a smile to our faces. There are just certain things we come across in life that are just amazing. Here are a few things that bring me up whenever I'm down and just add light to my life.

1. The smell in the air after it just rained.

When the rain finally stops and there's just an aroma unlike any other in the air.

2. Singing your heart out in the car with your best friends.

Blasting music belting out songs in the car is always a blast.

3. The feeling of going down a drop on a roller coaster.

You know the moment the cart is about to tip over the edge that feeling that takes over your stomach.

4. Taking artsy pictures.

When you snap that picture in the perfect lighting, at the perfect angle.

5. Doing something that makes someone genuinely happy.

Watching a huge smile appear on someone's face and knowing you took part in creating that smile.

6. Getting a cute text.

Getting a text that gives you butterflies and actually makes your day.

7. Getting a good grade.

It just being along a feeling of genuine happiness along with it.

8. Uncontrollable laughter.

A day filled with laughter is always a great day.

9. Christmas time.

Lights. Giving. Receiving. Decorations. Food. Family. Pure bliss.

10. Reading a good book.

Getting so into a book that you actually feel like you were there is an amazing feeling.

11. Getting a really sweet compliment.

When someone is genuinely nice it's a great feeling.

12. The warm sun on your skin.

The feeling of the sun beating down on you on a warm day.

13. Jumping into a cold pool on a hot day.

The cold water hitting hot skin feels amazing.

14. Going on vacation.

No matter where you go the feeling of going away is one of the best feelings.

15. Accomplishing a goal.

Little or small accomplishing a goal always feels good.

16. Watching the sun set or rise.

Watching the different shades of a beautiful sunset is always an amazing thing.

17. The feeling of genuine love.

Seeing a couple who you can tell genuinely love each other or even experiencing it on your own is one of the best feelings in the world.
