We are coming close to the end of October. Since when did that happen? It felt like a week ago I was moving into my new room and living with 120 new girls. Time flies when you are having fun. However, sometimes fun is put on hold by midterms, which have rolled around. It is time to start studying. And by the way, thanks, Indiana, for putting homecoming and midterms in the same week! Good idea.
Regardless, in order to have another homecoming in your future, you have got to pass those midterms. There are many things that you can do in order to pass your midterms. So let's get into it.
1. Study.
2. Get a good amount of sleep.
3. Meet with people in your class so you can get into study groups and learn from each other.
4. Eat healthy so that you feel good.
5. Dress well, test well.
6. If you are studying for an extended period of time, take a break! Go outside, or watch one episode of something on Netflix. Just don't get carried away.
7. Talk to your professor or associate instructor about any questions that you have.
8. Make your own study guide.
9. Review all your notes and previous tests and quizzes.
10. Get any information about the test from friends who have taken the test before.
11. Study with calming music if you are into that sort of thing.
12. Find a quiet place in your house, or go to the library!
13. And by library, I don't mean the fourth floor social scene.
14. Seriously, avoid the fourth floor of Wells.
15. Second floor library!
16. Space out your studying. Pretty much anything that avoids being social and going out.
Of course do not completely lose touch with your life and your friends, but you go to Indiana, so you know how to balance your social life and academics. You were born to do this. This is why you are a Hoosier.
