16 Signs You're Too Excited For The Return Of 'The Bachelorette'

It’s finally that time of the year where girls of all ages crowd around their TV screens to witness one girl's quest to find love. Roses will be distributed among a plethora of worthy, and some unworthy, men that will fight it out to win the heart of the nation's favorite bachelorette, Jojo.

"The Bachelorette" returns to ABC Monday, May 23 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, and the fans of this competition reality show can not wait for its premiere. We have all had to wait one long month since Ben broke Jojo’s heart on "The Bachelor" season finale. If your "Bachelor" experience was anything like mine, you felt Jojo’s heartbreak as if it were your own, and you can not wait to see her find happiness as she turns to television.

Here are some signs that you might be a little bit too excited for this reality show to return to television:

1. One of your favorite shows on TV (second only to "The Bachelor") is finally coming back on the air.

2. You can’t stop talking to all of your friends about how much you love Jojo.

If you were Team Lauren during Ben’s season, you still have a place in your heart for Jojo -- AKA you’re just happy the show didn’t choose Caila as the next bachelorette. And if you were Team Jojo, you’re just excited that your favorite contestant gets another shot at true love.

3. You have already looked at all the guys that will appear in the show's first episode.

And they are definitely not bad on the eyes.

4. But you are definitely skeptical of the guys that choose to come on "The Bachelorette" in the first place.

5. You have purchased the appropriate amount of wine to get you through the two-hour premiere.

And you’re ready to embrace your inner Lace in order to consume it.

6. You’re a little sad that there won’t be as much crying on this season as there is on "The Bachelor."

7. Because the crying is one of the most hilarious parts of the show.

8. You can’t wait to see what kind of weird sh*t the contestants say/do throughout the season.

9. You know that you going to take every insult made to Jojo personally.

10. You’re crossing your fingers that the producers don’t throw any major plot twists into the show to make it more interesting.

11. When someone asks you to make plans on a Monday night for the next 12-weeks but those plans do not include watching "The Bachelorette."

12. You are pretty much speechless any time someone says that "The Bachelorette" is stupid, especially if they’ve never even seen an episode.

I used to be one of those people that made fun of people who took "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" seriously. After watching three episodes of Chris Soules' season, I was hooked. I didn't choose "The Bachelor" life, it chose me.

13. But if they do insult the show, you are right there to tell them all of the reasons why they are wrong.

14. You realize that obsessing over a show where other people fall in love while having unbelievable adventures makes your life seem a little bit sad.

15. You’ve accepted that some weird things will probably happen throughout the season, but you don’t know if they could top the events of the Kaitlyn’s year as bachelorette.

16. But you’re just ready for the festivities to begin so you have more to talk about with your girlfriends over the next 12-weeks.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
