There is always one friend that's like a mom away from home (except less judgmental). Here are some signs that you might be the mom of your friend group:


  1. Your friends call you mom (in a sarcastic but somewhat serious way).
  2. You regularly make/ have made dinner for your friends.
  3. You make sure that the dinner includes some kind of vegetable.
  4. Your friends often ask you to pick them up from places.
  5. You love Target and grocery shopping.
  6. You sometimes make poor decisions but remain convinced that you're perfect.
  7. Your car is messy from your friends leaving their snacks and clothing in it.
  8. You often refer to your friends as your “children.”
  9. You’ve offered to help out with someone else’s laundry.
  10. You’re always the one that is most prepared.
  11. Your friends call you when they’re sick or hungover and need to be taken care of.
  12. Your friends ask you to make sure they’re awake in the morning.
  13. You’ve used the expression “make good choices.”
  14. You get irritated when there are dishes in the sink.
