Starting your first semester of college is strange to begin with. And on top of that, you have to room with a complete stranger? Thinking about this is crazy itself, but if you're lucky enough, you're roommate will become your best friend, and someone you can't do anything without. 1. You have the same sense of humor.
One way to know this is true if there's never a time where you aren't laughing together.
2. Both of you are always down to go get food.
When you're in college, all you want to do is eat. And having someone who loves to eat just as much as you do is a bonus.
3. There's no such thing as a filter when either of you need to vent about something.
Let it out, it's all okay.
4. And no judgement on what you two talk about.

5. Deciding on outfits is a million times easier.
Especially if you have the same sense of style. If your roommate really cares about you, she'll make sure you know wearing that scarf with that flannel is not okay.
