Finals week. The barrier between a college student and the bliss of a holiday vacation. It is quite possibly one of the most dreadful weeks a student goes through. However, one cannot overlook that of the highly stressful and seemingly unbearable weeks prior to final exams -- these are the greatest struggle of all. Strung out on coffee, hours upon hours spent in the library, and never-ending migraines galore. These weeks of intense studying can bring out many different emotions in a college student. Here are various emotions and experiences young scholars of today will be able to relate to before they can waltz off into the freedom of a holiday break.

It's nearing the end of the semester and you want to finish on a strong note. You are going into finals bound and determined to ace them all. Bring it.

However, panic and dread take over your soul when you realize how much material you have to cram into your brain in the fleeting time you have before finals.

After you realize the monumental amount of studying you'll be doing over the next couple of weeks, you realize that you don't really know how to study...

It becomes clear to you very quickly that coffee will be your best friend during this trying time. You know to grab a fresh a cup every few hours.

You eventually figure out the whole "studying" thing and zone in on what you gotta do to ace these finals.

Yes, you will have to pull a few all-nighters in the library, and the coffee will wear off at some point and you will fall asleep.

Don't forget to take those mandatory dance breaks.

You might find that you've been studying so much that you just can't fit anymore information into your brain.

And you will definitely have the desire to rip your textbooks to shreds.

Your eyelids will feel so heavy that you'll do anything to keep them pried open.

Contrary to popular belief, being pent up in the library for days on end can be depressing. You will want to give up.

And we know you would much rather go to that party than stay in and study...

But after all, you are at this university to get an education and a little pep talk from your parents will remind you of this. You didn't go to college to get a degree in partying.

It's a given, you're going to have a last minute panic attack and second guess yourself. You'll get over it.

But in the end you can have a good time and celebrate after finals when you've earned it and deserve it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
