15 Times You and Your Friends Were Joebama

Joe Biden and Barack Obama's memes are too relatable.

15 Times You and Your Friends Were Joebama

Although election season has ended and President Obama has officially left the White House, these Joe Biden and Barack Obama memes are still pretty hilarious. I can't deny that these remind me of some of the things my friends and I do and say. Here are some examples of times you and your friends were actually Joe and Barack.

1. When you and your best friend are awkwardly staring at that guy you like and you're trying not to be obvious.

Either you or your best friend end up being way too obnoxious or obvious. It's just embarrassing at this point.

2. That one friend that doesn't want to leave the party.

We all have that friend who always thinks you're leaving the party without them, but you reassure them that you're both leaving together.

3. The one that is so insanely petty.

I might complain about the pettiness, but who am I kidding- I can be petty too. Once the friend group finds out one of us got messed with, we all get petty.

4. The friend that won't stop taking pictures of you.

We all have that friend that won't stop taking photos of us, good or bad. Some days I look like a model in those pictures and other days I look like I just crawled out from under a bus. Thanks friends for that blackmail!

5. When you pull a dumb prank with your friends.

We all have that friend that pulls really dumb pranks that never make any sense, or are just plain bad. Granted, sometimes it's the whole friend group that's in on it until you realize it's not actually that funny.

6. The friend who tries not to hurt anyone's feelings.

There's always the 'mom' of the friend group who tries to make sure everyone is happy and no one's feelings get hurt.

7. The friend that always looks at you like you're insane.

I am definitely guilty of handing out this look. It's the one where I am disappointed and telling my friends that I am not becoming a part of their immature ideas.

8. The super dramatic friend.

We all have that friend that is literally SO extra all the time.

9. The friend who doesn't accept anything just to annoy you.

There's always the friend in the group who won't accept anything you say just to bother you so that you have to repeat yourself multiple times.

10. The friend who always says they love you.

Those are some really great friends. The ones that make sure you know how much they love you.

11. The friend always trying to distract you.

We all have that friend who never takes our work seriously and is always trying to distract us. We love them anyway though!

12. The super cute and emotional friend.

I love my emotional and detail oriented friends who always give me the best gifts just to remind me how special our friendship is.

13. The friend with the weird words.

As much as I love to say "on fleek," I will probably never fully understand the meaning behind half of these new teen words. Let's just say "boujee" is still new to me, but my friends keep me updated constantly.

14. The one who can't let go.

We all have the friend who we completely adore but literally has no boundaries when it comes to college dorm space and wanting to follow us wherever we go. I love them but we sadly can't be together all the time anymore like high school.

15. The one that loves you too much.

We all have those friends who love us so much they can't let go. We get the same when we are with them, but we have to know we are going to part ways and will see each other soon. These are still super important people in our lives we should always cherish.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
