15 Times Animals Embodied Your Finals Week Struggles
Overthinking It

With finals week upon us, we're all hitting the books, slamming the coffee, and struggling hard. Sometimes you just need to take a breather and browse through some cute pictures of animals who are struggling alongside you. Take a break from your studies, and take comfort in the fact that you're not the only one struggling to survive finals week.

1. When they fear the very thought of leaving their beds to face the demands of the world.

Outside of bed = homework, finals, and responsibilities. Inside bed = warmth, sleep, and happiness. You do the math.

2. When they know and embrace your need for coffee in this difficult time.

It's not a choice at this point. It's the only thing standing between you and a finals breakdown.

3. Adopting weird eating habits just to get by and having no shame about them.

Now two in the morning is a perfect time for second dinner.

4. Having a million things to do, and having no idea where to start.

So many things to do. So little motivation.

5. Literally doing anything else in order to put off the inevitable.

Suddenly your room needs to be cleaned, laundry needs to be done, and drawers need to be organized. There has never been a better time to do so.

6. And when you do actually get started, you quickly feel the need for a spontaneous nap.

You've been hard at work for over five minutes. You deserve a break, champ.

7. When you realize that the final actually is cumulative.

Wait, what? Has this been common knowledge all semester long?

8. When you're totally lost, so you just pick a random answer and hope for the best.

It's been a while since you've chosen C...what's the worst that can happen?

9. When it's finally time to rate your awful professors and horrible group members.

They knew this moment would come eventually.

10. But knowing that it's really in your best interest to stay on their good sides.

Will beg for a grade bump.

11. Being unsure if you really want to see if your final grades are posted yet.

Yeah, I'm brave enou-....no, no I'm not.

12. Getting psyched because you're almost done and that the end of finals week is near.

Use that last drop of energy to finish strong!

13. Thinking your hand is going to fall off during a test, you're writing so fast.

Hand cramp, hand cramp! Shake it out a little - this is what you've been training for!

14. But then you finally turn in that last exam or paper and know it's over. It's finally in the past.

Cannot contain the excitement!

15. And knowing that pass or fail, it's time to celebrate!

Unleash that inner party animal - you've earned it!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
