In addition to beach and party season, summer is also concert season. All of the big name artists roll out their guitars and hit songs for a huge summer tour, leaving everyone scrambling for tickets and the perfect picture for Instagram. For all of you who love the concert experience, here are 15 thoughts you have while at a concert.
1. *Trying to merge into a lane for parking* "Are you really not going to let me in? I will fight you."
This is not what Coldplay would want, they're all about peace and love.
2. "I probably should have checked to see if I can bring my bag in."
If not, you're going to have to shove everything you own into your pockets.
3. "Wait, do I have my ticket?"
There's no stress like I-thought-I-lost-my-ticket-to-see-Drake stress.
4. "Why is merch so expensive?"
You're still gonna buy that $40 tee shirt, though.
5. "$6 for a water bottle? Are you kidding me?"
Justin Bieber better have personally blessed this water for me at that price.
6. "I wonder what this world would be like if people actually knew how to walk."
You're just trying to get to your seat before the concert is over.
7. "How is this opening act my age? What am I doing with my life?"
They might be opening for Beyoncé but did they just finish "The Office" in less than two weeks? Didn't think so.
8. "Ugh, when is it time for- *lights dim*- OH MY GOD!"
Be cool, be cool.
9. "I LOVE THIS SONG!"
All cool has gone out the window.
10. "I hope they play- *said song starts to play*- YESSSS."
BEST. NIGHT. EVER.
11. "I wonder if they can see me."
Even if you're in the nosebleeds, you put your trust in the combination of the house lights and the band's good vision.
12. "Oh my God, they definitely just pointed/looked/breathed in my direction."
Get on my level, @ person who won't put their sign down.
13. "I LOVE THIS SONG!"
You may or may not say this about every song that's played.
14. "I might cry when it's ove- *last song starts playing*- NOOOO"
Why do bad things happen to good people?
15. *Lights come on* "I need to go to another concert."
Let the post-concert depression begin.
