It’s time for midterms. Some people are ready for them… or not (yeah, definitely not). But at least that means we’re about halfway through the semester, right? That’s good – progress has been made. Anyway, here are 15 thoughts that just about every student has had during the week of midterms.
1. Finding out you have a midterm in a class the week before
You probably should have paid more attention to the syllabus.
2. And the professor says there’s a topic on it you’ve never actually learned
This should be illegal.
3. When your professor says it’s all multiple choice
So #blessed.
4. And then there are those professors who prefer “application questions”
Scratch that -- #unblessed.
5. Finding out you have two exams on the same day
Thank you for your consideration.
6. And then find out you have a third
Is it too late to drop out?
7. Planning a study date with your friends in the class
Two heads are better than one, right?
8. But you get no studying done
Maybe studying with wine was a bad idea.
9. You don’t even know where to start with preparing
So. Many. Words.
10. So you tell yourself it’s OK to go out instead
A little party never hurt.
11. Then you realize your exam is the next day
Just kidding.
12. So the all-nighters ensue
It’s not like I need sleep to be a functioning human being or anything.
13. And you slowly but surely lose your mind
I wonder if my bed misses me.
14. But in just one week all your worries will be gone
I can do this.
15. And the reward? Spring break, here we come!
Let the happiness begin.
