15 Things You Text Your Sister After You Both Move Out
Rhonda French

I never appreciated living with my best friend, until I didn't get to anymore. Sisters are there to drive you crazy and keep you sane at the same time. Sisters are the only people who can be absolutely livid at one moment and laugh about something your mom said the next. It's a special bond that you don't understand unless you're lucky enough to have one.

Here's to all the stories that we never told Mom and Dad, that time we ran out of gas in the Mcdonald's drive through and just about everything in between.

Despite how many times I've told you the complete opposite, I really stinking love you.

1. Did you take my jeans with the hole in the knee?

Or my maroon sweater, or my Jack Rogers sandals? We don’t live together how are you still managing to have half my closet at your house?

2. What was that song we used to listen to in the car? You know the one…

We’d roll down the windows and drive around the neighborhood twice before actually going home. Was that Jonas Brothers? Hannah Montana?

3. You won’t BELIEVE who I saw today.

That girl that we knew in elementary school with the blonde hair and braces. Except she doesn't have either anymore. And literally, you are the only person who will understand why it’s a big deal that I saw them.

4. Are we ever going to tell mom about that time that we….

Yes. At Thanksgiving in 30 years from now.

5. Who is that boy in your snap story?

Are you dating? Why didn’t you tell me you were dating? When do I get to meet him?

6. Can I call you?

My entire life is in shambles and you’re the only person I know can make me feel better right now. Please talk me through this.

7. Look at my Pinterest right now.

I am going to be the best maid of honor one day. I know you haven’t technically asked yet, but, that’s unspoken, right?

8. Can we get dinner?

But like... At mom’s house? Are you as broke as I am?

9. I’m coming over.

Yes to see you, but also for wine. Do you have wine?

10. What's the Netflix password?

HBO go? Hulu?

11. Look at this argument mom and I had.

And please side with me, because everyone else is saying I'm being irrational.

12. I can't believe you took my new lipstick. Very uncool.

Of everything, you could have taken. That was low, sis. Very low.

13. NVM. Found it.

Sorry for anything mean I said

14. Go like my Instagram picture.

and share my FB pic and RT me. It's not embarrassing you're my sister.

15. I miss you.

Like way more than I ever thought I would.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
