Professors... Just stop. Most professors think they are the bomb when they're actually not. Us students, try to make our learning experiences a little more bearable sometimes, but, there are just some professors that seem to make that a little impossible. I don't get how simple things are so hard for them to do. Its basics people. So here are a few things that professors do that really annoy most students if not every student.

1. When they are late.

I'm not even gonna' get started with this one.

2. When they miss class and don't send you an email previous to the class to warn you.

You know, It's not that hard to write an email and send it... Thank you for wasting our time.

3. When they don't use the class hours to explain the material.

The GIF pretty much sums up the feeling.

4. When they think they know it all and they think you don't know half of the things they do.

I know we are there to learn from you, but we are not idiots either. Shout out to half of my professors... #sorrynotsorry

5. When they try to intimidate you because apparently “they have power and you don't.”

Actually, you don't have more power than us, but, if that helps you sleep at night...

6. When the class is over but they keep you in class because apparently “they can and they will.”

I really despite you... As if 1 hour and a half wasn't enough.

7. When they all complot against students and they all give exams for the same day or week.

The feels man... The feels...

8. When they give you homework and never end up collecting it even though you spent all night doing it.

Yes! Alright. I just wasted my sleeping hours for nothing. OK.

9. When they make you study something very different to what actually comes on the exam.

I think you guys like to make us panic and feel unprepared.

10. When you ask a question that they don't know the answer to so they ignore you.

Aren't you suppose to be there to answer questions? When did I get lost?

11. When they get mad because you asked the same question several times because you don't understand their answer.

If I need to be explained 5 times or more, you explain 5 times or more. Isn't that your job?

12. When they talk with fancy, pretty sure, invented words to confuse students.

I'm almost sure some professors invent fancy words just to look superior...

13. When they don't let you use the cellphone in class but they do.

As well as I get distracted using my phone, I get distracted if you're using your phone. So, how about the same rules apply to everyone?

14. When they mess with your grades.

This particularly happens when they don't like you. They subtract points for everything. They even subtract points when the essay is well written, its just that simply, they don't like you. Shout out Prof... Better not.

15. When they read the Power Point.

Please don't... Just don't. Originality never hurt nobody.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
