After seven years of lies, secrets, boyfriends, theories, near-death experiences, text messages and uncountable "A"'s, Pretty Little Liars is sadly coming to an end. The hit ABC Family, now Freeform, TV show, which was originally based on the book series by Sara Shepard, will release its seventh and final season in April 2017, and here's a list of a couple of things the show and its characters have taught me.

1. "If at First You Don't Succeed, Lie, Lie Again"

Literally quoting the title of Season 1, Episode 15, Pretty Little Liars taught me that even though lies almost never work out and will almost always throw you into a sinkhole, you should keep doing it because, why not?

2. NEVER Trust Cops

If half of the cops in Rosewood have taught us anything is that every cop is out to get you, and neither your race, nor sex, nor sexual orientation has anything to do with it. It's only because of Alison and the things she did 2 years ago.

3. No one's ever really dead.

Admit it, we all knew Alison was alive, but when Toby died, Marlene King hit us right in the feels. When Mona died, however, we were all a little bit doubtful, because once you go black, you're A forever and never actually die. Which makes us think... Is Maya really dead?

And who could forget the most recent presumed dead person who broke our Ezria hearts? Nicole Gordon

4. Blood really is thicker than water

Even if you make out with your sister's boyfriend, and then date her fiancee, it's okay. She will still kill a random stranger and form part of the weird stalker team that's out to get you, in order to protect you, because deep down, she loves you.

5. It's okay to cheat, sometimes.

Who cares if you have a boyfriend back in Boston? If your ex-boyfriend/teacher gives you a sign that he wants you back, you take it and dump your boyfriend. But be careful, because his presumed dead ex will probably come back to life because, why not? Something has to go wrong. Who cares if you're engaged and your ex is dating your best friend? Your first love will always be your first love, and it's worth it. "It's not really cheating if she had him first, Spence." Is your ex-cop boyfriend is engaged? Send him away, but not without kissing him first.

6. You probably have a sibling you don't know about.

If your family is anything like the families in Rosewood, you probably have an entire secret family you don't know about. Just be careful not to date your sister, like Jason, did.

7. Making out with friends is fine.

Normally, making out with your best friend would be weird, but it's Emison so who cares?

8. If your name is Alison, "Don't have sex, cause you will get pregnant. And die."

Can we talk about the fact that back when Ali was still missing, the girls thought she was pregnant with Darren Wilden's kid, and that's why she was killed? And then, (*spoiler alert*) she married a stranger stalker Con artist who wanted to kill her, and she found out she was pregnant with his kid (is it his, though?) right after he was already dead. If this teaches us anything, is that Alison should join a celibacy club.

9. You could come up with 10 different theories of who is A, and it'll probably end up being none of them.

No matter how many signs to Aria or Spencer being A, you're probably wrong and it'll end up being that one guy that said Good Morning to the girls on that one episode. You can convince yourself all you want that it's Maya or Wren, and you could even have actual valid proof, yet, it'll probably end up being that waitress that served Spencer on Season 2.

10. Don't be mean in Middle School.

If this show has taught us anything, is that if you ignore people in middle school, call them "Hermie" or"Pigskin", or plant a stink bomb in their basement and blind them, they WILL form a secret stalker team against you and your group of friends. So, just be nice.

11. If you're Emily Fields, you can get anyone.

Has anyone else noticed that Emily's past girlfriends have mostly either been straight and realized they played for the other team because of Emily, or they never really say if they're lesbians, they just let Em hit on them? Maya had a boyfriend, but she's an exception because so did Emily at that time. Then there was Samara, which was one of the only girlfriends we knew these details about. Then Paige, who tried to drown her, then kissed her and said; "Don't tell", which led a lot of PLL fans to disapprove of what later became "Paily". After that, there was Talia, who was married, to a man. Sara Harvey, which I still say I never trusted. And or course, Sabrina who has been on and off. Most importantly, Alison, who teased Em at first, yet, we all know she secretly has always been in love with her. #EmisonIsEndGame, right?

12. The "Liars" are Rosewood's Bad Luck Charms.

Not only just for Rosewood, it's like a vice-versa relationship. For five years, Rosewood was completely calm and basically homicide-free, until the girls came back. Similarly, the girls were completely unbothered and found peace where they were for five years, and suddenly, they come back and a whole new Uber A (A.D) appears.

13. If you have not been in a mental hospital, you're no one.

We're just exaggerating on this one, but I mean, come on. if it were me, and I was being constantly stalked and tortured by an unknown person, I'd go crazy too.

14. Being romantically involved with a Teacher isn't really wrong, as long as you're really in love.

Even though it's technically illegal, love knows no laws. "Ezria" also taught us that when it's love, it's love. It doesn't matter you met each other in a bar and spent 10 minutes in the bathroom, which pretty much makes you question their entire relationship, because they're just so darn adorable.

And well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, right?

15. Friends will always have your back, no matter what.

Because friends who get arrested together, stay together. No matter what obstacles they've faced, or what A has put them through, or how mean Ali was when she was younger, the liars will always be there for each other, because in a strange way, they're the picture of true friendship.

"Friends don't let friends sneak into insane asylums alone."
- Hannah Marin

So, even though most of these are with a bit of a sarcastic tone, I really do love this TV Show. Despite all the frustrating plot twists and deaths, we don't see coming, and the strange situations that happen on a daily basis, Pretty Little Liars is one of the best shows there are out there. After 7 seasons of ups and downs, we're sadly reaching the finish line. This show and these girls grew with us.

Spencer made us want to be smarter and taught us how to overcome everything and anything. While also letting us know that sometimes it's okay to break down, as long as you get back up. Emily taught us to be ourselves and showed girls who were afraid to embrace who they were that it's okay to be different. Hannah taught us that the smartest people are often the ones no one expects. She also taught us that you can accomplish anything you want, as long as you believe you can. Aria taught us that size truly does not matter strength and courage come from all different types of people, and even though earlier I was being ironic, she really did teach us that we don't choose who we love, but we should choose to embrace whoever we love. Alison taught us that sometimes, the one who pretends to be the strongest is usually the most sensitive one. She taught us that some people use intimidation and fear as a way of protecting themselves. Ali was mean at first, but we learned that it was because of her twisted family. She taught us that anyone can change and that you can overcome anything, as long as your friends have your back. Mona, though not an official liar but she still is, taught us that we all just want to be accepted and that makeovers are an incredible thing. Even though she went crazy for a long time, she was able to come back from that hole and earn other's trust.

Pretty Little Liars, in general, taught us that your high school experience was not at all sucky compared to the one these girls had. They taught us that we all make mistakes, but that's okay. They taught us that family and friendship should come before anything. This was a great show, and our hearts will be broken when it comes to an end.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
