15 Things I Learned My First Semester of College

1. People are weird but that's okay because so are you

2. Finals are hard. like super hard.

3. You need to go to class

4. Some professors suck and you just have to suck it up and deal with them for 16 weeks

5. Some classes suck too

6. The family that you make while at college is quite unique

7. Make friends with those in your class, they make class a little more bearable

8. Dorm life is pretty sweet surprisingly

9. A lot of people are still stuck in high school

10. Friend groups form super fast.

11. When going random for a roommate, you can either get the best or the worst

12. Playing a sport definitely helped the transition from high school to college easier

13. It is acceptable to wear slippers anywhere on campus

14. Always carry an umbrella, I can't keep track of the amount of times I got caught in the rain

15. Get used to calling your college home. It may feel weird at first but by midterms, its true
