After a whole summer of anticipating freshman year, it is finally in full swing. For almost all of us, it is the first time we are completely on our own. College is the first time you are expected to do your own laundry, live with a complete stranger and handle your own finances. The perks are parties, free food and care packages from home. As every freshman understands, this new found freedom comes with many ups and downs.
- When you ask your parents to send more money.
- When
the people on Yik Yak have no chill.
- When
you are overwhelmed with homework.
- When you see happy couples.
- When you are homesick.
- When
people don’t take their laundry out when it’s done.
- When
someone offers free food.
- When your outfit is on point.
- When you finish a paper an hour before it is
due.
- When your roommate opens the blinds in the morning.
- When you are a mess during midterms.
- When
you find a seat you like in class.
- When
you are having animal withdrawals and see a pet.
- When you get a package from home.
- When midterms are over and you are ready to have fun.
Enjoy the up and downs of freshman year while it lasts because it'll be over all too soon!
