Each of these songs will trigger you. All you need to hear is the first few notes, and you'll be transported into the world of anime. Each captures themes and tones of the show, and get you even more excited to tune in. They're intros that you would never skip or fast forward through. In fact, some have likely earned a place on your playlist. Songs go above and beyond their mission and bury themselves in our heads to be remembered for years to come. You can already anticipate showing them to your kids and raving about how good anime was when you were young. Without further ado, here is what we came for; the 15 most iconic anime openings:

1. Pokémon

Pokemon is a timeless show that still has new installments of shows and games, including Pokemon Go! No matter how many new openings are created, the first will always be the most iconic. With mobile versions, you can travel across the land and be the best there ever was.

2. Sailor Moon

Singing along to this one just makes you feel like you're a magical girl yourself. It one captures all the virtues of the show including courage, love, and friendship. The song alone is empowering.

3. Dragon Ball Z

This one just makes you want to run a few marathons, learn martial arts, and of course rock the dragon along the way. Instrumental heavy, it keeps the ki flowing.

4. Full Metal Alchemist

Yes, Brotherhood is better, we get it. But if you stayed up through the early hours of the morning to watch it on Adult Swim growing up, you will be triggered by this. Running right along with the Elric brothers, you're ready for what the Humunculi have in store. Ready, steady, go!

Okay, fine, here's Brotherhood.

5. Samurai Champloo

Here's a show that is heavy on hip-hop elements. Champloo loosely translates to mean “stirred together,” which is too fitting for the show. The opening showcases each of the three miscreants who get mixed together with a music genre that seriously stirs the pot. This is an intro that slays.

6. Naruto

While the series has many catchy themes, this one best captures the show the best as they are all fighting dreamers. It gets you in the spirit of adventure and courage.

And don't think I'm going to ignore the romper Sasuke wore an entire season.

7. Cowboy Bebop

Let's jam. It's sensual and exciting with the perfect amount of trumpets. With the simplicity of silhouettes, you know you're in for a ride.

8. Digimon

You certainly won't miss the name of the show with this intro. The vocals are flawless and it's like you've entered the digital world.

9. Attack On Titan

This opening leaves little room for guessing what the conflict of the show is as you encounter titans at each and every turn. With this impressive animation, you can fly through the air, fighting a good fight against the titans.

10. Yu Yu Hakusho

Each character's unique talents of each character is showcased and it's apparent how strong they are as a team. Totally in touch with themes of the show, friends who were previously strangers ban together to fight for justice and of course friendship.

11. One Piece

The first 30 seconds are pretty promising. It's badass and exciting, then...the song kicks in. Sure, they're at sea, but it sure has a campy vibe. One thing is for sure, you won't forget about this one any time soon.

You can take the Japanese version a lot more seriously.

12. Boondocks

This catchy bop captures the the struggle characters face as well as each of their dynamic personalities. The simplicity is appreciated as you prepare for a satiric take on topics and encounters that can be too difficult to face without humor.

13. Neon Genesis

The perfection of the crisp vocals may not prepare you for the chaos about to ensure, but the mesmerizing visuals are plenty to draw you in.

14. Inuyasha

It feels as though you jumped down the well and arrived to the feudal era. The opening feels as magical as each character is.

15. Yu-Gi-Oh!

This one urges you to fetch your old deck and challenge all of your enemies to a duel. You really can't get more iconic than this. Between the imagery and vibe of ancient Egypt it ensues, memories of watching it on 4Kids, or playing the game back in the day seem to flood in upon hearing. There's no better time than now to duel.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
